This is something of a procedural request, but a small tweak to the tool might go a long way to making the NomCom process more transparent.
The basic idea is to add a field to feedback forms so that people providing feedback can volunteer information about their own affiliation. This would be voluntary, but it would help greatly in going through feedback to have this information. Too often, positive feedback on a nominee is dominated by their colleagues and having affiliation, even voluntarily given, would help filter that feedback.
The concrete suggestion is to offer a blank text box on the form where people can type their affiliation. Ideally, we'd save that for a short amount of time so that people don't have to type it repeatedly, but not keep it for any significant time (a session-bound cookie with a short-ish timer would be good).
