Option 1: Publish in IPJ Option 2: APNIC blog: https://blog.apnic.net/
From Robert Mitchell [robbie@apnic.net](mailto:robbie@apnic.net)
Here are some brief guidelines that I share with guest bloggers:
Most of our posts are between 500-900 words – longer posts we look at ways to turn them into series (or make an exception) Posts are written for a technical audience (e.g. network operators). That said they are news/ special interest/ opinion stories and not research papers, executive summaries or promotional pieces. With this in mind, readers are looking for content that is practical and/or something that they might need to consider (best practices). You can submit your story as a Word or Google Doc (robbie.apnic@gmail.com)) to allow for comments and track changes. Please don’t send a PDF. If you have any accompanying photos, videos, slides or images feel free to send them/include them in your draft with captions. Please add a two sentence biography at the end of the article and send a 400x400 head shot (optional) for our author profile. We will provide feedback and assist with editing and proofing the document for grammar and style — so don’t get to hung up on all that. We check this revised version with you before publishing too.
Potential venues: IEEE communication magazine
The ALTO article has been accepted for publication to IPJ. The IPJ editors are targeting the next IPJ issue.
