Description
Users like setting goals; allowing them to do so through our site increases our value and user interaction. Users are sometimes confused about the iFit goal system. The new dashboard takes some great steps to improve this. Goals are now displayed prominently in their own section of the dashboard. With our new Set Goals button, users can set running, cycling, fit score, & weight goals.
However, we also display Sleep, Calories Burned, Calories Consumed, and Step goals. Currently, these goals can only be set through the app. This may be confusing to our users without the app. Since only a small percentage of our users have the app, but most of our users see and use this page, perhaps we might consider allowing web users to set these types of goals as well. This would make this a useful feature for everyone.
An intuitive way to accomplish this might be to allow a user to click on any of the Goal types within the Goals section to open a modal where she is able to set a goal of that type. I.e. clicking on Running Goal would link the run goal section of our current modal; clicking on Step/Sleep Goal would link to another modal/page where they can set that type of goal.
