For instance, in the preliminary stages of the software dev. process you may want just to make some blueprints of the ifml model without having to link to a uml class diagram

As the UML model can also evolve during the different project phases, it would also be very useful to provide a dynamic synchronization mechanism of the DomainConceptModel with the UML structural features.
