This is an awesome game--I am new to text games, and it's well written and well
done. I hope this problem can be resolved. I have only two more rooms to find.

Similar game freezes have been reported and I believe the problem has something
to do with timing, but I have not narrowed down a fix yet.
You should be able to recover by killing Frotz (by double tapping the home
button, then pressing and holding the Frotz icon until an X appears, then
tapping the X), and relaunching. Or by just rebooting your phone.
Frotz should load the last auto-save on launch. You will lose the last few
moves of progress, but hopefully not much. Since I think this problem is
caused by a rare timing glitch, I expect it will not happen again from the same
command. If it DOES, then that's actually kind of good news, because it will
help me narrow down the problem and find the bug. Let me know if this does
happen again repeatably, and if so, I'd like you to please manually save your
game and attach the file to this bug report.
Thanks

Hello, whoever answered my e-mail.
The rebooting of my phone worked, the curser showed up, and I lost nothing.
Thank you!
Have a blessed day!

Awesome, and I'm glad you're enjoying Frotz.
Since I already have other reports of the freeze issue, I'll go ahead and close
this one out.
Cheers,
Craig

So, Craig,
Your prompt reply is MUCH appreciated. And, yes, I am totally enjoying the text
game -- I raised 6 children (am nearly 57) and watched them all play the text
games like Zork, Return to Zork (which I actually did play) -- but mostly had
to attend to household duties, etc. Now they are all gone, and I actually have
time to get hooked. I started with 9:05 and played it about 5 times to "do" the
various ending scenarios. What a hoot!
Bronze has been a fabulous way for me to break into the world a little further,
and I appreciate being able to play with the help bold-face prompts so I don't
get overwhelmed -- Also, it has a beginning and, hopefully, an end -- but I
still have two rooms to explore!
Looking forward to some of the others on Frotz games, too.
Have a blessed day!

Hi, Assuming this might go to Craig:
I finally finished Bronze a few minutes ago, and what a fun twist! I did not
save my game before typing in the last command. Is there more than one ending?
If so, I don't mind playing it again, now that I know how to do it. 9:05 had
several endings, but it was a short game, and I found them all the first
go-around. THAT was a perfect game for a beginner like me.
It took a while to figure out some things to do. Thanks for providing this
game Bronze as part of FROTZ.
Thanks again for your help earlier when I ran into a snag.
