saving does not work in some tads games. #293

My problem is that trying to save in early tads games, primarily from the 1990s, fails. The save command gives the response,?Failed." Games made with tads 3 and HTML tads save normally, however.

Also, I use a Ipad 4, with IOS 12.2 installed, I use voiceover, and use, the voice, Av to use Frotz

Can you please provide any specific example of a TADS game which fails in this way for the purpose of reproducing the issue? Thanks.

These are a few examples of tads games where saving fails. Babel, lost New York, Once an Future, and First Things First
