Needed: Someone to help turn half-formed ideas into suggestions #109

There are many readers but few writers. Some people are not making suggestions. We need to try harder to make it easier for people to share. There should be someone - a helper - who is dedicated to this role.

Suggestors can cooperate sometimes. But each is promoting their own suggestions potentially at the expense of others.

This would make suggestions more friendly. We could elicit suggestions from people who are excluded currently.

We already have way more suggestions than we have time to implement this year, I think! I'm not concerned that we don't have enough suggestions at this time.

This will happen naturally. If someone posts something vague others will ask for clarification. Further suggestions will be made in comments. Or they won't be, and we can close the initial suggestion if no one ever follows up.

It's not a problem of too few suggestions. It's a problem of too few sugggestors. Diversity is low.

I know you were just making a quick comment, but don't assume that new suggestions by new contributors would not be more popular (and better) than the current ones. If they are, they should be prioritised.
