Pip installable #49

@andreufont @lauracabayol I made this repo pip installable. I got rid of environment variable dependency. It is a large change so it might break other things. But should make it significantly easier to install and use. I'd be happy to chat about the next steps before merging. I assume a similar thing should be applied to cup1d.

PS: NEVER run python setup.py install

both @jchavesmontero and @lauracabayol were able to use the new installation, so merging now
