I have the same issue. I use this app as the media player I use (tune-in
radio) doesn't auto start when my car connects to the phone. I therefore tried
to use this app and only select Tune-In as the available application.
Unfortunately it doesn't work and Tune-In Radio never gets launched. If I add
another app to the list it works, but frequently guesses wrong and launches the
incorrect music player, which defeats the point of using this app.

The fix for this would be to always launch the app before forwarding the media
button press to it, even if only a single app is selected. Right now how media
button router is written, if only a single app is installed, everything should
work as if media button wasn't installed (which means that if the receiver
doesn't work when the app isn't launched, it still won't work).

The problem is not about having a single media app installed. We have
multiple media apps installed, but want to select only one (because we only
want to launch that particular one upon button press).
Can you please fix this? Ideally if only one app is selected, media button
router should forward the button press imediately and not launch the popup
for us to make a selection.
