MAUI UI testing research

A bunch of potential approaches, should explore the most promising ones and decide on one:

• [ ] Maui.UITesting
  • most promising as it's built with a MAUI-first approach (and by Microsoft people)
  • CI/CD probably (?) a non-issue
  • standard .NET test reports
  • compatible with Android, iOS, Windows, (and partially MacCatalyst)
• [x] Xamarin.UITest
  • microsoft provided
  • not usable in its current state for MAUI (awaiting https://github.com/microsoft/appcenter/issues/2416)
  • integrates with AppCenter (more easily automated?)
• [ ] Xappium.UITest
  • collab with Maui.UITesting devs
  • no longer (or currently) under active development as there are issues with Android & Appium (?)
  • probably not usable in its current state
• [ ] other alternatives?
