Igraph bug with Rstudio #164

Hi, Everytime I ran a plot command with Rstudio to plot an igraph object, R studio freezes and I have to terminate the program.

I have restarted computer, uninstall and reinstall both R and R studio, update igraph package but nothing fixes the bug. I can run the same command in R console without any issue so it seems there is a miscommunication between igraph and Rstudio. I did not have this problem a week ago.

Please advise

Hi Gabor,

I actually need to delete/update my thread, the bug was not from igraph. Well actually I am going to explain how I solved the issue as I have not found much on this. No doubt that some guidance from the web here would have helped me to solve the issue faster.

I recently downloaded a software, and an anti-virus got automatically installed in my computer. It took me a few hours to realise the antivirus was messing up the communication between R and my system, making R studio to freeze.

Once the anti-virus was uninstalled everything went back to normal.

Thank you so much for coming back at me and for the amazing work you guys are doing with igraph.
