why can't work on BBC, Netflix etc? #1010

Although the streaming media platforms such as Netflix ,BBC iPlayer use HTML5, why this extension can't work on them? neither can other similar extensions.

any idea that can make it work on all H5 video platforms?

It does work on netflix, at least on my firefox fork. The hotkeys also work for me, leading me to suspect that it would even work on chromium, and you're doing something wrong. That said, you can try https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/videospeed-magnus-fork/

I'm not in the UK so can't test BBC iplayer.

Last year, I submitted pull request #984 for an issue with Netflix. Unfortunately, after I submitted it, the author did not accept any pull requests for this project. By the way, the version I modified was only tested on Chrome. If you're interested, you can also try out my version at https://github.com/kevin823lin/videospeed/tree/netflix-advance-rewind.
