Feature Request: Larger buttons on screen #499

Installed this for seniors, they cannot easily see or click the buttons.

Could there be options for making them bigger? and options for other corners of screen?

One of my core values - probably my biggest - is inclusion, particularly for minority groups such as seniors... so I would be glad to take this one on. I would like to understand a couple of things first though

  1. Will using the browser's zoom feature give the desired results? (i.e. Ctrl + and Ctrl -)
  2. How big would it need to be in order to be easily clicked/seen?
  3. Should this enhancement also include high contrast/no transparency?

I'd like to try and get some representation of this feature into the 0.7 release. My thoughts are: make it a little bigger, increase the time it stays on the screen before timing out, and make it high contrast/no transparency.

If anyone has any additional thoughts or can respond to my previous questions please let me know.

I have been using [ and ] control speed, but the speed value isn't visible while changing, the font is too small.

Maybe pop the font-size larger on key press for 1 second? This can be separate toast / snackbar too.

+1 My resolution is just QHD, but it's quite small, it must be even smaller in 4K.

I'm using large buttons everywhere I can, it's much easier to click.

Perhaps just the buttons could be larger, not symbols, if it would be easier to implement, or use double size mode.
