It's not conflicting with other extensions because I enable videospeed
only while testing.
Have you tried using YouTube, Invidious, or Odysee?
Have you tried using YouTube, Invidious, or Odysee?
It works well on youtube.com
and odysee.com
, and works well and on bilibili.com in Edge (but not works on bilibili.com in Chrome). Quite Wired.
Sorry, I don't know Invidious
so I didn't test on that.

The same problem in www.bilibili.com, the speed controller is valid usually in the first video you open, but while you open another video, is just not work
the MacOS chrome version is 92.0.4515.107
- Microsoft Edge
I have tried using the latest version of Microsoft edge, the same problem as Chrome, It works well only in the first video
I have the same problem, I have two chrome accounts, if I use the other Chrome account, Bilibili is normal, very strange
I finally figured out the cause of the problem, and all I had to do was update Chrome to the latest version
Oh, my god. It's not working again
Update 08-20
:
I think I found the reason why videospeed
can accelerate only some of the videos.
When playing the same video, link
Screenshot of Edge Version 92.0.902.78
When using DashPlayer
only, videospeed
works well.
Screenshot of Chrome Version 92.0.4515.159
When using DashPlayer + WasmPlayer
, videospeed
does NOT work.
As you can see, for my system, Microsoft Edge tends to use only DashPlayer
, while Chrome tends to use DashPlayer+WasmPlayer
.
Or maybe it's not Browser's fault, videos uploaded to bilibili.com will automatically be transformed to different quality(480p/720p/1080p/4K) and formats(DashPlayer/WasmPlayer).

@b4imetu
Thank you very much for your prompt, I have banned HEVC, as shown in the picture, check the red box, Videospeed will be restored to normal.
I have found another tool called Global Speed, it works well on bilibili, you can try it.
我找到了另一个工具,叫Global Speed,在bilibili上效果很好,你可以试试。
爱了爱了
I try to change the videospeed's shortcut key rules, but no effects .. I guess they(bilibili programmer) have strengthened their defenses to deal with plug-ins. 0.0
Thanks bro, i tried to ban the HEVC, and it word again, so there is no need to find a new plug-in.
for example LTT's new video
Easy Small Form Factor Build
Link videospeed can't control the playback speed.
