It was working fine for months until yesterday when suddenly Amazon Prime wouldn't play any videos at all. Today it was back to normal. Then all of a sudden, no videos on any site would play. As soon as I disable VSC, videos play normally.

Same for me right now on Youtube

CutieAlesia commented 2 years ago

yeah, I have this same issue since today on youtube

OmerSchechter commented 2 years ago

Weird, can't recreate the bug. Which version of chrome are you using? Do you get any errors in the DevTools console? Did you try disabling all other extension?

CutieAlesia commented 2 years ago

I figured the issue out for myself(The others might have a different one), for some reason it was setting the video speed to 0 and hiding the speed display, a clean reinstall fixed that(the hotkeys and setting the default value in the settings didn't work for some reason)

OmerSchechter commented 2 years ago

Good to hear!

When you're saying "a clean reinstall" was there a version change? Do you remember if you were using v0.7.1 before as well?

In case there was no version change, can you recreate the issue? By changing the shortcuts/settings I mean. It would help to debug it (I tried and couldn't)

CutieAlesia commented 2 years ago

fairly sure I had the latest version, so no version change, and I can't reproduce the issue. It might've been due to a chrome update, it first occurred after updating chrome, so that's likely

@Kushurando Thank you!

@bluebird38472958 @jondkinney Are you still experiencing this issue?

OmerSchechter commented 2 years ago

@igrigorik Consider closing this issue for now.

jondkinney commented 2 years ago

I'm not experiencing this any longer. I'm on a new machine since reporting.
