Split screen view - coordinates do not change when scrolling, zooming #1109

When I am in split screen view and I move in the individual screens, e.g. I scroll or zoom, the ranges below the chromosome ideogram (coordinates of chromosome and position) do not change. I am now using IGV_2.11.1 on Mac, but it seems to be similar in earlier versions. Is this a bug or do I just have to change my settings?

This is how it works, for historical reasons, but I agree its confusing. We'll leave this open as a bug report / enhancement request and fix its. Thanks for calling it to my attention. There's nothing you can do about it until its fixed.
