2 years ago I never could reproduce this. You did not give any details regarding your environment. Please update your hombridge, plugin, nodejs etc. And provide more details.

Plex webhooks stopped working and the following warnings show up in the logs. The git.io page mentioned in the logs states that "if you see this message in the logs it means the plugin was very slow to respond from a request to get the current status or update the state of an accessory. Plugins that respond slowly can impact the responsiveness of the entire bridge."
