Refactor Smart Initialization #78

Added SmartInitialization in solver class.

(This PR may have conflicts with #77 , will rebase and merge this after that one.)

@jizezhang I merged in PR #79 and #77. Tried to merge in this one by resolving the conflicts in the web editor, but probably safer for you to do a rebase locally. Then I think ready to go! :)
