The attribute display uncertainties is a cartographic attribute intended to reduce screen clutter in some ECDIS display settings by limiting the display of the horizontal position accuracies of a sounding to those considered by the encoder to be important to the mariner, and is mandatory for all Underwater/Awash Rock of depth 30 metres or less.
