Add "Map" and "Sattelite" button as Map type control buttons #562

Just as the GE maps api (at least V2) have an option for enabling earth map 
type (see 
http://earth-api-samples.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/examples/maps-integration.html
)

I would like the earth api to have map type control buttons to switch from 
earth instance to google maps.

Some due to http://code.google.com/p/gmaps-api-issues/issues/detail?id=1480 I 
believe that the two projects (maps and earth plugin) are converging into one.

I hope this will soon happen.

would be a great enhancement. I have polylines with an altitude and I have  to 
display them on the earth. The polylines jums from 1 continent to an other. 
Sometimes, I need a map flat view to see the big picture, the whole polyline in 
one shot. Switching to map would be great.

Using Maps API (with earth plugin, makes me develop things twice because maps 
do not care about the altitude
