Should we merge quick links in footer? #35

We were discussing about keeping quick links in footer once like in the website of university of Iowa. I need opinions from everyone upon merging quick links in the footer and keeping social link icons upward it as in the website of university of Iowa ( http://www.uiowa.edu ) suggested by Ankit sir? Should I work for it now or not?

That was the idea provided by Shaifali . The design is of course better and I agreed to shaifali for making those changes. Since the quicklinks need to be shown on every page , we can merge it with footer so that there won't be headache of maintaining two different files , one for footer and one for quicklinks
