Is this app still developed? #1303

As the most download links are dead and the latest requests are quite old is there any development at all? I know that the former dev ( https://iitc.me/ ) isn't reachable anymore (yes, the link is still working). There are still minor problems/bugs in IITC mobile and I'm willing to troubleshoot. My knowledge about apk's is limited but I'm able to decompile/compile or send proper bugreports.

I get development updates on a regular basis. Even though the text on the download page on iitc.me isn't updated, the actual download link will get you the latest version.

Really? Last autumn (when intel URL changed) there was single and only update for many years.

the actual download link will get you the latest version.

That is true

@Holguitar the good-old devs of this project are gone, inactive or hard to reach. The links are not dead and the version you'll got is still working. But since noone is trying to pick up the work it will only got maintain fixes. No new features and PRs are likley to be ignored. No need to "decompile" anything. Since you're here you already know how to get the source.

There is a fork of this project "iitc-ce" developed by @modos189 and @johnd0e. It inculdes many of the stucked PRs, bug fixes and updated dependencies.

And as you see: they are always here to promote their fork.

@fkloft @dingram

I understand that you may not interested in the project anymore. So may be you'd like to pass this repo to someone else?

Or just add some statement in README and iitc.me about project status (saying that it is not developed, and naming some alternatives)?

MysticJay commented 4 years ago

Seems at least one of them is interested (based on the fact that a new build was released to fix a login issue) But why don't you then contribute to iitc.ce?
