Restore deleted portal? #1313

There was a loading issue I think and IITC suggested a portal that was missing and I went ahead and deleted it. It’s still in the game and I’d like to restore it in IITC so that it shows up again. How can I do it?

iitc reads intel. if the portal is still in the game, then just force iitc to re-read intel. WARNING: Niantic has been working on the backend for a week and intel is having issues.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion! Is forcing a re-read as simple as reloading the page? Sorry if I’m a bit thick, I clicked through settings but couldn’t find anything specific.

Short answer: Yes. Longer answer - you can't delete a portal that is in the game because iitc is just showing what Niantic has in the database. IITC just reads intel. BUT niantic has been working on the backend for the last 6 days and Intel has had problems or been offline a lot. That will likely be continuing for weeks, though hopeful not on the weekends. If stuff isn't showing up in iitc, that's what it's going to be - Intel isn't responding for some reason.

Thanks, I’ll wait for this to resolve on its own then. And thank you for the explanation regarding how IITC works!
