+1 for EFF and FSF
Yeah, sounds good.
I was going to say the same thing. I do this for fun. The charity suggestions sound good, maybe throw some links to each charity's donation page up on the spiffy new website that is being worked on? :)
Yep same here. +1 for charity donations.
As an end user, I love the idea of supporting FSF and EFF +1.
I'll go out on a limb, just incase you're considering other possibly worthy FOSS organisations to support, and I'd like to suggest the Sahana Software Foundation that produces FOSS software for disaster management, and could always do with more support. I'm a past Director, and have been involved with them since mid-2005. The SSF uses OSI approved licenses.
I realise adding others may be a slippery slope, but there is no harm in asking, right? :)
it is a slippery slope, @rediguana
I'll leave things as they are for now.
I've had a couple of emails now from people wanting to donate to IITC. Not something I was expecting. I think @breunigs did have a donate link in there, but this is no longer the case.
Personally, I'm not doing this for money. Hosting this has no additional costs for me.
I was going to suggest that if someone wants to donate, they give to charity. A couple of suggestions
However, I'm not the only one developing this - it's a group effort. I'm open to suggestions in this area. Happy to add more options to the list, and if some of you want personal donation links it's OK with me.
Looking at the commit history - https://github.com/jonatkins/ingress-intel-total-conversion/contributors, ping @Xelio @leCradle @Fragger @vita10gy @boombuler (and @breunigs - not listed there?) - apologies if I've missed anyone else major.
