The default port is currently 8000 which is a commonly used port. It is better to use a port which is not commonly used and especially one which is free in the port list for prometheus exporter ( https://github.com/prometheus/prometheus/wiki/Default-port-allocations )

Because the standard port range from 9100 up to 9999 is exhausted we need to choose something else. Therefore 39000 makes sense. Once the port and code is reviewed the port should be added to the wiki link above.
