Hi,

love this plugin! And that's exactly why I have feature requests of course 😇

Would it be possible

Thanks and kind regards

Marco

Thank you for your request!

Regarding aliases, my understanding is that only the alias part is shown in DNO view(in your example, and this an alias) as an outline element. Are you seeing both link and alias? Or are you talking about the preview (inline preview or tooltip preview) and not the outline element itself?

Regarding the removal of markdown symbols, please tell me if you are talking about the outline element itself or the preview as well. I have actually considered implementing this before, but have put it off because I thought there might not be enough demand for it. If there is demand, I would consider implementing it, although it may be difficult to do so immediately.

Hi, thanks for your quick response!

Of course, it would make more sense to just display the alias part instead of the original note title. Anyhow, DNO displays both in the right pane (not inline preview or tooltip preview).

As you can see in the screenshot it does not show the brackets but both parts of the wiki link (separated by |:

Regarding the MD symbols I mean the outline element itself, as also shown in the screenshot (**).

Kind regards

Marco

Okay, judging from the screenshot, you are talking about links contained in list items? (You must have Show links turned off and Show list items & tasks turned on in the plugin settings). Basically, list items display the plain text contained therein. But only the parentheses of wiki links are removed (I didn't take aliases into account).

For now, if you turn on Show links, you will see a separate text-only link for aliases. I will add a fix for alias display (in list items) and removal of markdown symbols to the schedule, so please be patient.

This is awesome! Thank you very much - and no hurry ;-)

When I have an alias inside heading text I see both link and alias in the outline view. I'd much prefer to see just the alias.
