Download a .svg file doesn't show what I have edited #291

Hello, I was creating a keycaps layout that will be used for a custom printing. I did all the modification I wanted but when I download my work in SVG there weren't any letter or symbol on the keys. Did I forgot to do something or Is there a problem?

Same issue here. The SVG only has the blank keys layout, but no legend on any of the keys.

Same issue here. Any idea when this will get resolved? I do need the SVG file, a screenshot won't work for me. Thanks!

IJP did the svg as proof of concept, he was not really happy with it.

For printing keycaps, I did it the hard way in LibreOffice, then exporting to eps for the laser guys to engrave. alpha.pdf Sample attached.

Re creating the svg, one issue is fonts ... for example if you use one of the commercial fonts on the server, or the custom KLE icons font ... any references to those in the svg won't work unless you have the fonts locally...
