What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. establish wired connection
2. attempt to connect to a secure site (https://<anywhere>)
3. the connection will fail, and further (even non-secure) traffic will fail.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
wired tether 1.4, win 7 enterprise, samsung epic 4g (sprint)
