What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
HTC EVO 3D Android 2.3.4 HTC 3.0

Please provide any additional information below.
I have a HTC EVO 4G the wire tether 1.4 works great.
I rooted my 3D and installed wired tether 1.4 the connection goes through but 
will not connect at all.
