Hi there!

This is a very simple wrapper for Slurm's 'sacct' command which force users to provide arguments to it. It also checks the "NULL" arguments.

Executing "sacct" command without arguments cause the "slurmdbd" very high memory usage and additionally the "slurmdbd.log" is filled with errors. This occurs specially when "slurmdbd" has many jobs/job steps stored.

Cheers!

Dear Cyclops Developer(s):

You are welcome!

After testing it please let me know what's your take. Of course the script could be enhanced with some other new features. Up to now it still very basic but it could be a starting point on solving this type of inconvenience.

Concerning the copyright of course I've no issue on this.

Kind regards,

Dear Cyclops Developer(s):

Please find the enclosed sacct_wrapper.zip file containing the latest version of the sacct wrapper with some new features such as: data validation, query time and so forth.

Dear Cyclops Developer(s):

Please find the attached "sacct_wrapper.zip" file. It's a small correction concerning the '-interactive' option. Basically this version of the script prevents the '-interactive' option passing through. It is important because the "sacct" binary doesn't recognize this option.
