Untrusted api.steampowered.com SSL certificate #65

Pidgin asks me to verify a certificate for api.steampowered.com because 
apparently it is untrusted. This notification began to appear this month 
(October). Can anyone confirm that this happens with their Pidgin too?

The SHA1 fingerprint of the certificate is 
4b:60:e3:02:e3:4b:01:2d:a3:60:21:2a:27:82:5d:b6:95:da:be:7d.

I'm using the plugin version 1.3, Pidgin 2.10.7 and Windows 7.

Got the same issue from later yesterday
Using Pidgin 2.10.7. plugin 1.3 windows 7 it also broke the phone app
on debug console:
13:11:46) nss: partial certificate chain
(13:11:47) steam: Error parsing response: <html>

Same SHA1 and error, occurred in both v1.1 and v1.3

I think #1 is unrelated - it sounds like Issue 48.
