HC2 will not responding after update to Homebridge 1.3.0 #208

Hey,

I have a big problem, namely after updating to version 1.30 of homebridge my Fibaro HC2 modules do not respond anymore. They are visible and are also recognized when starting homebridge but they do not respond when I press them.

I also get this error message during startup:

Can there be an update of the HC2 plugin so that this works again?

I have the same problem... rolling back to a previous version of Homebridge doesn't help either for me... @cryptominingbe did u try to rollback to previous version?

@crissmil Hi,

No, a rollback doesn't help, the only thing that would help is a clean installation, but I don't like that:/ I hope on a fast solution

After upgrading to 1.3 I:

After restarting homebridge the plugin works.

I have tried it however without success In what way do you mean to empty the accessories folder? I have now lost everything on the iphone, can set everything again now: /

remove it from .homebridge folder or use the homebridge UI

It's in the same directory where you have config.json file.

Ok it will works again when i remove the whole map accessoires. Make the accesoires map only empty is not enough :)

What do u mean? Did u delete the accessories folder from /var/lib/homebridge? my raspberry is 300km away and I cannot properly verify the results. Can u pls detail what u did? Thanks

so, i did the following steps:

1- set the advertiser parameter to "ciao" in homebridge 2- set the bind parameter to my network interface 3- login with ssh or terminal in the homebridge -> cd /var cd lib cd homebridge rm -f accessoires ( the whole directory)

4- restart homebridge. (last step)

and then it will works again.

Hey,

it still doesn't work perfectly, because I notice that every time the homebridge is restarted I have to delete the accessories folder to get fibaro working again ... can this be checked again please?

same here... I am strugling with same problem. Once accessories folder is deleted it is working but the homebridege UI Accessories tab is empty without any accessories populated but server is working and I can control them. Once restarted, Accessories tab is populated with all my accessories but server is not working anymore. Untitled2 Untitled

@cryptominingbe, @crissmil, I just published plugin version 2.3.8. It should fix the issue. Can you test it ? I'm no more able to test on HC2. Thanks for your support.

@crissmil, try version 2.3.9. Do not delete the accessories folder.

@crissmil, never used that interface. Mine is empty too, none of the other homebridge plugin accessories are present. I will wait for an upgrade of homebridge and ui plugin before digging into this. Closing this issue.
