Go to C - > Program Files -> creepy and copy creepy.conf from there to C-> Users -> YourUsername -> creepy . Start the application again.
The authorize button has always been there. Are you sure you have been using creepy before ? When you fix the first error, click on the authorize creepy button, it will open up your browser where you will login to twitter and then input the PIN number you will get back to creepy.
If you still have problems, feel free to re-open the issue.
Yes I have used it before, just didn't remember the authorize button.
Thank you for your assistance. It worked.
This has been a valuable tool for me working with Victims of Domestic Violence.

Assistance please.
I bought a new computer with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
When I install Cree.py, I get the following error at the end of the installation.
Error parsing configuration file: 'cons_string'
It loads, but all I get is searching locations.
Also when I click on Edit and go to Settings, it has a Authorize Creepy button and there is a block to enter a PIN#.
Please advise.
I used this with Windows XP and never encountered a issue.
Thank you,
Darryl
