Twitter Authorize issue #27

I have downloaded creepy to my Windows 7 machine. When I am searching for a person without a user name i get an error that says I have to authorize. I go to the settings tab and hit authorize. Nothing happens. Is there supposed to be a pin in the box that says pin? I made no changes to the creepy.conf file located in my User directory. I then tried to search via a twitter name. The program said it was able to locate a certain number of tweets but could not pull the geodata from it. Why?

Hello, and sorry for taking such a long time to reply. Can you please provide a little bit more information : Version of creepy Where did you download it from. What happens when you hit authorize ? ( Does the app freeze? )

Hello,

Same problem. Windows 7. Verison 0.1.9.

Clicking on Authorize does nothing. It hangs for a moment... then nothing happens. My system time is also synched.

Also noticed that if I click on ABOUT then click on the link shown (http://ilektrojohn.github.com/creepy) it will tell me that there is an Error: Could Not Show Link No application is registered as handling this file

Can second this too. Windows 7. Version 0.1.94 Downloaded it from the first link "Version 0.1.94 resolves the issue with twitter. Download it from here." the here being the hyperlink "https://github.com/downloads/ilektrojohn/creepy/CreepySetup_0.1.94.exe". When clicking on "Authorize Creepy", it hangs for a few seconds. Then returns to as if nothing has happened. Followed all the issues, no luck as of yet!

ilektrojohn...i downloaded it from github.com/downloads/ilektrojohn/creepy/creepysetup_0.1.94.exe

My system time is correct. When I hit authorize it does nothing. The program doesn't freeze. It just gives me no errors.

Close as invalid for now, the soon to be released v1.0 handles this.
