Thanks for this, this is unfortunately a valid bug, I will fix that ASAP.

Nothing is broken. Validate your config and please submit an error report that makes sense so that I can actually act upon that and help out. Give me list with usernames that you are searching for and return no ID. P.S what is your value for "exclude users with geo disabled from search" in Twitter conf ?

I realize that if a username I look for ends by a or many following like JohnDoe_ it will remains like a "JohnDoe" search, so the results are wrong.
It shouldn't ignore the "_" chars.
