Latitude from Plixi API parsed wrong - negative #6

Closed scatterkeir closed 13 years ago

scatterkeir commented 13 years ago

i.e. if the latitude is 50.111111 Creepy 0.1.9 thinks it's -50.111111

Thanks for reporting, I'll fix it as soon as possible

ilektrojohn commented 13 years ago

Are you sure about that ? I just checked a couple of users with plixi photos and i get back the coordinates correctly . Can you email me the username that produced the error so I can look into it ? Thanks

Me, scatterkeir - perhaps the problem is being introduced by my phone, which took the photos.

Check if the location shown in the little map in plixi website is the same with the one that creepy gets. If yes, there is nothing I can do, it is either a problem with your phone tagging the photos with wrong coordinates, or plixi's problem reading the coordinates wrong :)

yup, they're wrong in plixi, and therefore creepy is accurately pulling what plixi understand to be the location, I'll investiate further.
