Possibility of Making this Website Searchable #207

I was noticing when reviewing our site that I thought if it was searchable, that would be helpful.

I am not sure how difficult that would be but I am throwing it up here for us to eventually discuss.

maybe https://developers.google.com/custom-search could be a low-effort solution.

https://history.library.ucsf.edu/ uses a similar approach (although the implementation is outdated).

Google makes it pretty darn easy to use, and it's quite configurable. That being said, not sure if it's worth the effort to implement. Is there still interest?
