I just stumbled over the same bug/feature.
Whenever I receive an sms, the notification from SMSdroid is displaying the
previous
sms, so not the one just received. But this might have been your intention.
I am also running v0.0.10 beta10, couldn't find the changelog for v0.0.11 rc1,
so I
haven't updated yet.
Nevertheless, I just stumbled over SMSdroid and WebSMS and I find them both
awesome!
I'll be happy to contribute as much as possible.

hm. this is very strange.
is the other sms listed as unread too?

No, only the one prior to the newly received one (from the same thread).
Today though, I think it displayed once the sms that actually just arrived. But
only
once if I even remember correctly.
At the moment I have also the Handcent notification enabled, which displays the
sms
that arrived. Maybe therefore SMSdroid displays the one before? Handcent is
also the
first notification. I will disable the Handcent notification and see if that
changes
anything :)
Best regards,
Dimi

Ok, I did not recieve many sms today, but disabling the Handcent notification
seemed to work. I will
monitor this the next couple of days and report back. I noticed somehing else
that seems odd. I'll try to
reproduce it and if no one else has reported the issue, i'll do it:)
Enjoy your weekend,
Dimi

Seems to work great now.
I did a complete wipe of my phone yesterday. I did not install Handcent
(SMSdroid
FTW!), but had forgotten to turn off the notifications for the standard HTC
Desire
messages app. Nevertheless, SMSdroid showed the same, correct message in the
notification.
Thanks for the awesome apps and great support! keep it up,
Dimi
