Bug: Unable to install this vs code extension on Mac OS #400

Describe the bug Unable to install this extension in vs code running on Mac. Tried to activate this extension and extension host becomes unresponsive and you see a message SAP UI5 extension is in initialization phase.

Steps to reproduce the behavior: Install VS code on Mac Os (Sanoma 14.2.1)

  1. Go to 'Extensions'
  2. Click on 'Install SAPUI5 extension'
  3. See Message on the footer -"UI5 extension is getting initialized"

Expected behavior Extension should get enabled with out any issues like in other OS.

Hi,

Unfortunately this information is not enough to reproduce the issue. Assuming, that probably there would be a lot more of the issues if it would fail on all Macs, it fails only on yours. If that's the case, it is not OS related issue, but rather your machine/config/network config. I am not sure how I can help here.

Can you please let me know what additional logs that I can provide here to find the root cause, can you please provide the steps. I can also try in other Mac environments in the mean time. Appreciate the support.

Hello Lija, I tried with another mac OS version and works fine , the problem looks very isolated to the current Mac OS/settings that might have prohibited the extension from loading. Thanks again for this great plugin. I am closing this now.
