Accomplished

1. Discussing through lines of the songs brought forward. (Abusive men, money, autonomy/agency).
2. We established our research focus:
   • The cultural perception of black women's lives and struggles and how they navigated them in this time period, told through jazz and blues music.
3. Discussing including in-depth explanations of how we tagged and why exactly we tagged it for the future website.
4. Discussing what concepts we're interested in marking up in the XML (affectionate language, instances of agency, descriptions of people, socioeconomic status, causes for relationship strife, etc.)
5. Discussing how we wanted to tag structure.
6. We began to spitball specific element and attribute names to use and have them within an XML document for future reference.

To-Do

1. Each group member is to choose one of the 5 songs they chose and fully tag it to get a sense of what exact tags we need and how exactly we should execute them.
2. Starting thinking about a future schema for our markup.
