Can you ad an option to install a cios with revison 65535 instead of its 
standard revision?

You can already by modifying the sample_ciosmaps.xml @ line :
<ciosgroup name="d2x v6" version="21006" basescount="7">
Just put 
<ciosgroup name="d2x v6" version="65535" basescount="7">
Dont forget to rename it ciosmaps.xml to work ;)

The ability to change revision number directly in the Installer is in our mind 
but for later...

On the last cIOS d2x Installer v3.1 you can change revision number to 65535.

The original revision for d2x cIOS is 2100x but if you do an update Nintendo 
will put again the STUB IOS with rev 65280 which is up than 2100x.
If you max-out the revision of the cIOS to 65535 (mex rev for 16bits memory) 
they can't STUB your cIOS even with an update be cause the Nintedo Update 
Service simply can't downgrade a title ! ;)
