Cantera recently updated to version 3.0 and that creates problems to pyrometheus and mirge-com chemistry (more details in https://github.com/pyrometheus/pyrometheus/pull/75). AFAIK, updating affects mainly three-body reactions.
After Pyrometheus is fixed, we can reverse downgrading with #989
This also points that current tests were not able to inform us of such errors.
