hi i am running into the same problem trying to download windows 10 iso. intitially it was working then told me i did't have enough space for it even though the usb drive i am using is 32gb. so i pressed cancel and tried to download it again and it gave me the same error code you have. what do you mean by changing the browser? i am not in a browser with rufus i am running the application that downloaded to my computer. thanks

This is likely due to Microsoft blocking Rufus from downloading ISOs from their servers, which is what happens with Safari on macOS as well, you could try downloading the ISO manually from Microsoft's website instead. If you're on Windows, you'll have to use the Media Creation Tool, but it should have an option to create an ISO. Rufus will be able to open that ISO file and flash it onto your USB drive.

I read on another thread that sometime's when you mess with microsoft from third party apps/software they put a temporary ban on your ip address because they don't like it. I think this is what happened to me because I tried to run it at work today and it started the download. Before I would get the error message after choosing the language but today at work I got past it which is also where I saw the option to download from browser (its prompted after choosing architecture), so now your original solution also makes sense to me lol. I am now getting a different error code at about 2% completion: "could not download Win10_22H2_EnglishInternational_x64.iso Error: [0x00000015] the device is not ready. I could not find the exact same error code online but other people have had the "device is not ready" part and it was usually an issue with the usb drive from formatting or even the connection to the computer. so I will try again with a brand new usb drive either tonight if my ban is lifted lol or tomorrow again at work.

so this time i got to about 30% downloaded and then got an error saying could not download complete file. the connection with the server has been terminated. i don't know if this was a wifi issue or an issue with the rufus server so now i am trying to download from the browser. currently it is downloading the windows iso onto my usb drive. i was wondering if you could walk me through the process afterwards? do i only need the iso or like where does the bootable part come from/formatting from rufus.

idk how to get the greyed out reply to comments like you are doing but this is a reply to the comment i just posted.

I did some further reading and once the iso is downloaded I click the giant start button at the bottom to format lol. I never got that far before and my brain is kinda mush from trouble shooting the past few days. I guess this whole time i've been having trouble with downloading the iso through rufus and had't even gotten to the formatting part yet.. i didn't connect the dots. I hope this works, will let you know:)
