The 3rd point is why for apps that have had variations in the past we don't merge these pages, because if there's only one variant of several up, we still want people to be able to comment on releases before more variants are uploaded.
We may consider optimizing this logic, but it's not a priority right now.
I see there was a recent change in that aspect, now even apps with single variant are displayed in the same format of those with multiple variants, eg MiXplorer.
This was always the case, but for some apps the variants setting was not set (we needed to set them manually). But with recent site updates, this logic is now automated, so if there was ever a variation in a given app's APKs, variants are auto-enabled.
Even if the apk version with more variants was deleted? As example, I see no MiXplorer version with more than one variant, perhaps some version had and was purged from the site?
That actually shouldn't happen. We'll take a look at the bug.
The bug with Mixplorer is now fixed.
Thanks, but please note that it is not specific to one or other app, it happens on many.
If an app has only one variant per version, the pages should be merged into one, or just redirect to the download page right away.
