Adding smaller jet engines #35

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. The current Kontraption's 3x3 engine may be good for rockets, but it's still too big for smaller structures like small to medium sized fighters or airborne missiles. Too much size, too much thrust, too much fuel consumption and too many exaggerated special effects would cause a lot of trouble in designing these structures.

Describe the solution you'd like Maybe add a 1x3, 1x2, or 2x2 sized engine, the size is up to you, they have less thrust, less volume for flame effects, and less fuel consumption to make them less jarring when loaded on an airplane or airborne missile.

Describe alternatives you've considered Maybe I could use Tournament's fireworks thruster, but it's too easy to upgrade, too small and not very aesthetically pleasing, and on top of that it doesn't consume any fuel, which is why I prefer Kontraption - it will actually consume fuel to provide thrust instead of being powered by redstone.

Additional context Regarding my answer in the first question, the following two pictures (the first one is an airplane made by a Bilibili anchor using Kontraption, and the second one is the jet engine of a real-life U.S. F-22 fighter jet) can be visualized very well to show that Kontraption's flame effects in Figure 1 are too exaggerated for an airplane, and in the later video this Anchor showed the takeoff process of the aircraft, you can see the aircraft thanks to the strong thrust of the Kontraption, just skidding a dozen squares to reach the takeoff speed, which is really too short! image image

Is there a reason you can't use the 1x1 ion thrusters
