Pesterchum won't open after power going out #271

My power went out while I was asleep and I forgot to close Pesterchum, now it won't even open and I'm scared I'm gonna lose the friends I made on there...

This usually means your pesterchum data files have gotten corrupted because of the power outage (and because i programmed it bad). I can't offer specific support, but if you go to %LOCALAPPDATA% in your file explorer, and then go to the Pesterchum directory, you should be able to see all your files (with the extension .js). You should back those up, and then you'll have to edit them so that they are proper JSON data files. Then Pesterchum will work again. Someone else might be able to help you with the specifics.
