When an enchanted Elytra is worn in the curios slot (regardless of the rune glint colour) the Elytra seems to inherit the rune glint colour from these in this order: Held item, Helmet slot, Boots slot, Leggings slot, Chestplate slot, Slot 9 -> Slot 1, etc. If the slot is null, it will check the next. If the slot is not null, it uses the glint colour from that item (if there is no rune applied or it is unenchanted, it uses default glint) Whatever you do, the Elytra won't really show the runic etching actually applied to it.
How do you trigger this bug?
Use this mod and Quark
Enchant an Elytra, and apply a Runic Etching to it with a colour
Enchant something else, and apply a Runic Etching to it with a different colour
Place the Elytra onto the Curios back slot, and hold or equip the other item
Minecraft Version
1.20.1
