merge.exe doesn't merge pickup_type and drop_off_type

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  merge the two individual gtfs files together
2.  view the result

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
the merged files don't have values in either pickup_type or drop_off_type but 
they should have values

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.2.11, Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
The only difference between the two files is a value of "1" in pickup_type and 
drop_off_type for stop_id 40244 on trip 8639201 in one of the feeds, compared 
to a value of "0" for the same record in the other feed.
