Cannot connect to cameras in Windows 8 App

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Loading the Windows 8 app will not connect to the local cameras in the 
program.  I am able to view the cameras via the program as well as web although 
not the app.  The error received is: "Comms Failure - Refresh the application 
if you are experiencing issues."  I've disabled my firewall as well as setup 
port forwarding.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
- v4.7.6.0, Windows 8

I am having the exact same problem. accessing from web locally and the 
application without problem. 

But windows 8 app (ispy UI) show Comms failure. 

I have just updated to the most latest ispy application but still it does not 
work. thanks
