Mike, personally I would now slightly change these to remove the dot after the £ amount, so:
½ mark 1 mark 1½ marks £28 6s. 8d. £6 9s. 66s. 0½d. etc
But am willing to follow Peter's CIRCLE principles too.
I think it’s dots or no dots! But I could be persuaded to expand marks!
